Cambria-Indiana-Somerset-Westmoreland Counties Water Infrastructure Meeting

The second regional discussion on water infrastructure funding will be on November 29th from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm.  The objective is to connect with resource providers and tools to bring more funding for drinking and waste water plant improvements, stormwater, recreational assets, and related development to our region.  This meeting is for those involved with water infrastructure in Cambria, Indiana, Somerset, and Westmoreland Counties. The event will be held at the Johnstown Area Heritage Association. Coffee, rolls and a bag lunch will be provided.

Information presenters will include :

Dan Mikesic from PENNVEST
Adrienne Smochek from DCNR who will discuss outdoor recreation funding opportunities,
Amy Lee Forsha of RACP Solutions, and
Ellen Kohler from Penn and Michelle Kokolis from the University of Maryland to discuss technical assistance in project development.

There will also be local presenters, including Adam Cotchen, Western Pennsylvania Conservancy, Jim Greco, Cambria-Somerset Authority, and Ethan Imhoff, Manager, City of Johnstown, who will be presenting highlights about the region’s water infrastructure needs.
