 |  | Dear Residents and Workers of the North Side,  We are excited to invite you to a neighborhood meeting hosted by ALCOSAN, where we will provide you with essential information about our proposed regional tunnel system, the Ohio River Tunnel project. As valued members of this community, we are eager to hear your thoughts and concerns.

Date: Tuesday, January 30, 2024
Time: 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM
Location: Allegheny Center Alliance Church (Community HUB Building)
Address: 250 E Ohio St, Pittsburgh, PA 15212

The Ohio River Tunnel project is a crucial part of the ALCOSAN Clean Water Plan, aimed at making our rivers cleaner and healthier. This federal government-mandated initiative will have a direct impact on the residents, workers, and recreational activities along our rivers. Some of the key points we will cover during the meeting include: Improved river recreation and community life. Fewer problems from overflows. Short-term construction impacts such as truck traffic and road closures. Acquisition of key properties required for the project’s near-surface components.
