This gathering will take place on June 14, 2024, from 11:00 AM to 4:15 PM at the picturesque Tissue Farm, located at 446 Latrobe Ave, Confluence, PA 15424. For those unable to attend in person, we offer the option to join virtually via Zoom, with the meeting starting at 10:30 AM Eastern Time (US and Canada).
At Confluence 2024, we will come together to celebrate the vital role of water in our communities and to chart a course for the future of water stewardship in our region. The event will feature a lineup of inspiring speakers, engaging discussions, and interactive sessions aimed at fostering collaboration and innovation in water management practices.
Our esteemed keynote speaker, Nathan Reigner, Director of Outdoor Recreation at DCNR, will deliver an address that sets the tone for the day ahead, inspiring us with his insights into the importance of preserving and enhancing our natural water resources. Additionally, we are honored to have Jessica Bryzek, West Virginia Northern Basin AmeriCorps/VISTA, as our Voice of the Future, sharing her perspectives on the intersection of water resources and community engagement.
Confluence 2024 will also offer attendees the opportunity to participate in informative work group sessions covering a range of topics, including communities and recreation, future of outdoor recreation, and mapping water assets and data. These sessions will provide a platform for meaningful discussions and the exchange of ideas aimed at addressing the challenges and opportunities facing water stewardship in our region.
