The Harry Enstrom Chapter of the Izaak Walton League requested the Water Network join them in researching the current drinking water standards, recommending changes to the standards to ensure they address the contaminants found in today’s water supply, and developing an approach to ensuring the public is aware of the health and safety of their drinking water.
At its October meeting the SWPAWN Strategic Working Group approved a Drinking Water Standards Working Group to continue this discussion.
