In September DEP released its Interim Final Environmental Justice Policy and an improved mapping tool, the PennEnviroScreen, to enhance its previous EJ Public Participation Policy. The public comment period continues through October 29.
There is a Pittsburgh Public Hearing on Wednesday, October 18, 2023, 6 p.m. – 7:30 p.m., at the North Side Institution GOGIC Banquet Hall; 302 West North Avenue, Pittsburgh, PA 15212. DEP encourages those that which to testify at the Public hearings to register in advance.
