Upcoming Reimagine Appalachia web event about resources for Nature-based Creative Placemaking – July 10

An upcoming webinar from Reimagine Appalachia will continue the discussion that Julie Fitzpatrick of the Pennsylvania Downtown Center started for us with a presentation about Nature-based placemaking and community planning at the Confluence in June.

On July 10 Reimagine Appalachia and the Citizens Institute for Rural Design will host a web event to feature opportunities for programs that support design, arts, culture, and creative placemaking, focusing on opportunities for underserved communities.

This event will feature Courtney Spearman from the National Endowment for the Arts. She will talk about the Citizens’ Institute on Rural Design (CIRD), a leadership initiative of the National Endowment for the Arts in partnership with the Housing Assistance Council.

It is our job to make sure quality water and streams are featured in these discussions.  Please share this opportunity with your colleagues and contacts in the creative sectors.
